Our handcrafted furniture can vary slightly in fabric texture and color, wood finish, leather or cowhide texture, and size. These variations contribute to the uniqueness of each piece.

Our furniture is made without harmful chemicals such as flame retardants and formaldehyde. We use renewable, soy-based foam for our cushions and our fabrics are made without harmful additives. We comply with or exceed all safety standards.

Our down and feather cushions offer a luxurious feel, but they settle over time and require fluffing. We use downproof ticking to minimize feather migration.

Our fabrics are not chemically treated and are free from harmful chemicals like VOCs, formaldehyde, phthalates, and flame retardants.

No, machine washing may harm the fabric, backing, or stitching of the cushion covers.

Regular dusting with a dry cloth is sufficient for leather maintenance. Protect it from direct sunlight to avoid fading. Refrain from using harsh cleaning agents not intended for leather.

Our shearling from requires special care. Vacuum dust and debris using an upholstery attachment, clean stains with mild detergent and a damp sponge, and avoid bleach or enzyme-containing cleaners. Use a wooden bristle brush for knots and tangles, and protect it from direct sunlight and high heat. For deep cleaning, employ a professional service specializing in leather or sheepskin.

Delivery Timeframes

We stand out in the custom furniture industry due to our exceptional artisanal quality, custom made hand crafted production, and hospitality driven service.

Shipping to a local delivery facility can add 2-4 weeks for domestic orders and 5-7 weeks for international orders. Holiday seasons may add a week to the timeline. For a personalized estimate, please contact us at help@kincollectors.com.

At the moment, all our products are custom made in Europe to your design needs.

Due to labor shortages, shipping delays are currently being experienced in certain states adding an extra 2-3 weeks to the delivery time.

Purchasing Furniture

Before purchasing, we recommend using tape or a visualization tool to compare the product dimensions with your entryways, hallways, or doors. Our Design Advisor can also assist with fit considerations.

Most of our items have detachable legs or bases for easier delivery. Contact us for any exceptions.

Your card will be fully charged when the order is placed.

Yes, we offer replacement parts, extra slipcovers, arm covers, fabric by the yard, and extra cushions. Note that these are final sale items and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping for all furniture orders, regardless of size or spend, is provided for a fee of $195 to most US destinations. Select US destinations and Canada may incur additional shipping fees, which will be displayed during checkout. We also offer free shipping via UPS for some smaller items like stools.

At the moment, we ship to the lower 48 states of the US, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. We also ship to Italy, France, Spain & Portugal.

Yes, we provide free storage for up to 30 days after your first scheduling call. Beyond that period, additional storage fees may apply.

For custom orders, all pieces from a single order will be delivered during the same delivery appointment. If you'd like multiple orders delivered simultaneously, please reach out to us.

Our furniture is shipped via a white-glove delivery service, which is included with every furniture order at a fee of $195 or more, depending on the destination location, regardless of the weight, size, or spend of your order. A two-person delivery team will bring your furniture into your room of choice, unpack it, and remove all packaging.

Ensure the path to your room of choice is clear, accessible, and the room is ready for the new item. Also, be prepared to inspect your item upon delivery for any damage. Please note that pieces cannot be carried up more than 4 flights of stairs due to safety reasons.

Our delivery partners are not able to remove existing furniture at the time of delivery.

If you miss your appointment or need to reschedule within 72 hours of the previously confirmed window, a $250 redelivery fee will apply.

Report the concerns on the Proof of Delivery form and send photos of the concern, the detailed location of the concern, and your order details to help@kincollectors.com within 24 hours.

Generally, we cannot expedite pieces that are custom made to order.

No, we cannot expedite swatch kits but they typically arrive within one week, depending on location and time of year.

 

Each KIN piece is custom-made to order. We work hard to deliver your furniture as soon as possible given individual product lead times.

Yes, but it's the responsibility of the customer to ensure their order is inspected and any product concerns are reported to KIN within 24 hours.

Returns & Exchanges

You can return your furniture within 30 days of delivery. Contact us to initiate the return and we'll come pick it up. You'll be refunded the full amount minus 10% of your purchase price to cover the pick-up and donation of your piece.

You can exchange your furniture for a new piece within 30 days of delivery. The new piece will be final sale as we can only accept one exchange per household.

The shipping fee, which covers the cost of shipping, delivering, and assembling your order (if required), is non-refundable and will not be refunded in the event of a return or exchange.

Order Changes & Cancellations

You can modify your order within one business day of placing it, provided it has not already been shipped. After this period, any changes to fabric, configuration, finish, etc. will incur a fee equivalent to 10% of the purchase price.

After this time, a 10% fee will be withheld from any refund related to the cancellation. Once a piece has been completed in production or shipped, the order cannot be canceled. We encourage customers to review their orders carefully and reach out to our design advisory team with any questions before placing an order, as we are unable to make exceptions to this policy due to fairness to our craftsmen partners.

Warranty

If you believe your furniture is defective due to a manufacturing issue, please contact us immediately. Our Quality team will assess the situation based on the photos of the piece you provide. If we find a defect, we'll make arrangements to restore your furniture to the state it was in when it left our Italian craftsmen's workrooms in the Tuscany region.
